The 21-year-old was taken off for the Brazilian international Firmino midway thought the second half.
The Red’s were unbeaten in 13 and could of moved up to 6th place in the Premier League with a victory against Palace.
Can has played every Premier League game in his favoured position following the appointment of Klopp.
Klopp’s side were coming off the back of an important mid-week win away to Rubin Kazan in Russia. Can received a rating of 7.28 from WhoScored for his performance against Kazan.
