Roma would be prepared to sell Cengiz Under for a fee between £44m [€50m] to £52.8m [€60m] according to Il Tempo.
Per the source, an offer within that prize bracket could force the Giallorossi to green light a move.
Several clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have been linked with Under over recent weeks.
Fotomac reported yesterday that the Gunners made a £30m offer which was rejected by the Serie A outfit.
The North London based outfit may be able to clinch a deal if they increase the fee.
Club president of Under’s former club Altinrodu Mehmet Ozkan meanwhile, revealed that as far as he knows Bayern are interested.
“Cengiz is being closely watched by Bayern Munich, all I’ll say is he could move for big money,” Ozkan said.
Turkish-Football can confirm that Arsenal and City have been scouting Under regularly since he joined the Italian side.
City missed out on signing the 21-year-old after Roma swooped in with an increased offer and the prospect of first-team football last summer.
Under is currently happy at Roma and committed to his future at the club.
The Turkey international will definitely not be leaving in January but his representatives have not ruled out an end of season move.
It is also worth noting that Roma are keen on keeping Under and are in the process of offering an improved salary to his current €900,000 per-season deal.
