Arsenal have kicked off pre-season training ahead of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
The Gunners will be playing under a new manager for the first time in 22 years following Arsene Wenger’s departure.
Arsenal’s star names will be adjusting to life under new head coach Unai Emery who was appointed over the summer.
While the majority of the squad are already at the London Colney training ground, eight players are yet to return.
Mesut Ozil, Granit Xhaka, Alex Iwobi, Nacho Monreal, Joel Campbell, Mohamed Elneny, David Ospina and Stephan Lichtsteiner have all been given extended breaks after representing their nations at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
According to Football.London, Mesut Ozil will return on July 23 ahead of the Gunners pre-season tour of Asia.

Arsenal fans will be hoping Ozil can shake off his World Cup hangover following a disastrous campaign with Germany.
