Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed that it is an honour to play alongside Mesut Özil and Alexis Sanchez.
Chamberlain described the Arsenal duo as being among the best players in the world and that they make the Gunners a stronger team.
The England international believes that the experience that have brought over from Real Madrid and Barcelona has added quality to the side.
“As a footballer, you’ve got to remember that playing with the best players in the world is something you’ve always wanted to achieve,” he told Rabona magazine.
“The likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are two of them, guys who have played for massive clubs in Real Madrid and Barcelona.
“It’s an honour to have the opportunity to learn from them. They’ve bought into the Arsenal way and what we want to achieve, so it’s great to have people like that in our team.”
Özil and Sanchez are two of the most expensive players in the current Arsenal team. Özil joined the Gunners on a record £42.5 million transfer from Real Madrid in 2013 and Sanchez was signed from Barcelona for £29.75 million last summer.
Chamberlain has been at the club since 2011 after joining on a £9.66 million transfer from Southampton in 2011.
The 22-year-old winger has 13 goals and 20 assists in 124 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions since joining.
