Kayseri Erciyesspor forward Oğulcan Çağlayan has revealed that Chelsea legend Didier Drogba was his idol growing up.
The 19-year-old forward has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer.
Aston Villa are reported to be interested in the Turkish youth international according to the Fanatik.
Erciyesspor President Ziya Eren has confirmed that the club had received two offers from foreign clubs for Çağlayan.
We have received two offers from two major clubs from abroad,” Eren told AMK.
The 19-year-old has been capped for the U-16,U-17,U-18 and U-19 Turkish national teams.
Drogba spent two seasons at Galatasaray and scored 20 goals in 53 games before joining Chelsea in the summer.
The Ivory Coast international won the Süper Lig, Turkish Cup and reached the quarter-final of the Champions League while at the Lions.
The 37-year-old maintains close ties with Turkey, often visiting Istanbul and he is also a brand ambassador for Turkish Airlines.
