Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has been closely linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester United in recent months.

29-year-old entered last final six months of his contract with the Gunners and could end up leaving the club for free next summer unless a new deal is agreed.

Ozil has a strong relationship with Man United boss Jose Mourinho. The Germany international won the La Liga title during his spell at Real Madrid under the Portuguese tactician. Ozil also expressed his admiration for Mourinho in his recent autobiography.
