Emre Can took to social media to wish his Liverpool fans a happy new year ahead of the Red’s clash with West Ham united tomorrow.
The 21-year-old posted a selfie on Instagram along with the caption, “Thank you all for your support in 2015. I wish u all a happy new year and stay healthy 2016 #ynwa #liverpool.”
Emre Can played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League earlier this week.
The Belgium international Cristian Benteke scored the games only goal which saw the Red’s move up to seventh place with 30 points in 19 games.
Liverpool can move up into fifth place with a victory if both Manchester United and Crystal Palace drop points.
Can has been a constant feature in Liverpool’s starting line-up since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp. The Germany international has been deployed in midfield and is expected to keep his place in the side tomorrow.
