Everton table €7m offer for Croatia international, but Euro Giants want €10m
Everton are planning to bolster their squad over the January transfer window following a difficult start to the season.
Despite spending big over the summer, the Toffees find themselves in tenth spot with 22 points.
According to the Turkish outlet Milliyet, Everton are interested in signing Croatia international Domagoj Vida.
Interestingly, Vida has already penned a deal with Besiktas and will join the Istanbul giants in January. However, the report states that the powerful defender could be sold without playing a single minute for the Black Eagles.
Meanwhile, TRT journalist Fırat Gunayer has stated that Everton has offered €7 million to Besiktas for Vida. However, he goes onto state that Besiktas are holding out for a €10 million fee.

Everton recorded a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United last week and will be looking to register back-to-back wins when they face relegation battlers Swansea City tonight.
Besiktas meanwhile take on Sivasspor in their next Turkish League clash.
Dangerous choice. One of main reasons for collapse of previous manager and temporary manager at Everton was discipline. Vida is skilled and physical but a disciplinary “timebomb”. Many equally capable, PL football ready players at his position for similar money are out there. Why risk? (And this is from national, fan with long term knowledge of the man)
