The 21-year-old pulled off an outrageous back-heel pass in the lead-up to his sides third goal against the Citizens.
Can’s pass split open City’s defense allowing Coutinho to lay off an easy goal for Roberto Firmino.
The Germany international played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s win over City. Can was included in the starting line-up despite enduring a difficult international week with the Germany national team.
Liverpool moved up to ninth place with 20 points in 13 games following yesterday’s victory. The Red’s take on Bordeaux in the Europa League on Thursday and host Swansea City at Anfield next weekend.
