Feyenoord close in on former Liverpool winger target Dirk Kuyt [divider]
Feyenoord manager Fred Rutten has confirmed interest in Fenerbahçe winger Dirk Kuyt.
“I think it’s the most important thing that the player is fit. He would bring a wealth of experience with it and can play in many different positions,” Rutten was quoted as saying by FOX Sports.
“Who wouldn’t want to work with Kuyt?”

Kuyt spent three seasons at Feyenoord, scoring 71 goals in 101 games, becoming a fan favourite at the Rotterdam based club.
Southampton have also been closely linked with the 34-year-old winger. Saints head coach Ronald Koeman – a former Feyenoord player – has been keen to bring in Kuyt.
The former Netherlands international joined the Yellow Canaries from Liverpool in 2012 for €1 million.
Kuyt scored 71 times in 285 matches for the Reds and 24 goals in 104 international appearances for the Netherlands.
The 34-year-old now has four goals and two assists in all competitions this season.
Fenerbahçe are currently first in the Süper Lig on 41 points after 18 games.
