Alex Telles’ agent Fernando Otto has stated that the Istanbul Giants have no intention of selling their 22-year-old left bac.
Otto went onto say that Telles is happy at Galatasaray and has settled well to life in Turkish.
“Galatasaray do not want to sell Telles, both the clubs board and the manager Hamza Hamzaoglu have told us they have no intention of selling him,” Telles’ agent told Eurosport.
“Telles is happy at Galatasaray and is happy with his life in Turkey.”
The 22-year-old left-back provided an assist in the 2-2 draw against Sivasspor on the weekend and has established himself as a first team regular since joining from Gremio in 2013.
Daily Star reported that the Lions turned down a £5 million offer from Chelsea for the Brazilian full-back.
Telles provided a total of two goals and three assists in 56 games for the Lions last season.
Galatasaray take on Konyaspor in the third week of the Turkish Super lig this weekend. The young left-back is expected to retain his place in the Istanbul Giant’s starting line-up.
