Galatasaray are preparing to hold talks with Manchester City over extending Jason Denayer’s loan deal by another season according to Fanatik.
The 20-year-old defender has settled in well to life in Turkey and has already established himself as a first team regular.
The Belgium international did recently hint that he would consider staying at Galatasaray should a deal be reached with City.
Denayer told Fanatik: “I am very happy at Galatasaray but whether I stay here is to of my control and I do not want to create a problem for the clubs involved. We will all talk at the end of the season.”
The young defender has played mainly as a right-back this season despite being a central defender and has two assists in all competitions this season.
Denayer has had no trouble settling into life in Turkey in fact he has already developed a taste for one of the most popular drinks in the country; tea or çay (chai) as the locals call it.
The rising star recently shared an Instagram post having a traditional ‘cuppa’ alongside the caption: “çay… #do#you#think#there#is#better?#i#dont#think#so.”
