Former Turkey national team goalkeeper Rustu Recber has made a bold claim regarding Celta Vigo winger Emre Mor.
Recber told beIN sport that he believes Mor is more talented than Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
The eccentric goalkeeper’s comments have been met with scepticism seeing that Salah netted an incredible 44 goals in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
Contrast that with Emre Mor who has managed just six assists and two goals over the past two seasons.
Speaking live on beIN Sports, Rustu stated, “If we put Emre Mor and Salah side by side, I prefer Mor.”
Salah suffered a shoulder injury during the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid and is in a race against time to recover in time for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Meanwhile, Emre Mor is currently recovering from an ankle injury and has been closely linked with a move to Galatasaray. The 20-year-old has a strong relationship with Gala boss Fatih Terim.
