Karabükspor president Mustafa Yolbulan revealed that he has agreed terms with Galatasaray over the transfer of Furkan Özçal and Umut Gündoğan.
“We have agreed terms with Galatasaray over the transfer of Furkan Özçal and Umut Gündoğan,” Yolbulan said.
“We also wanted Yasin Öztekin but he did not want to make the move.
“The transfer of Furkan and Umut has not gone through officially just yet but it is a done deal and I doubt there will be any changes by January.
“We do however, still plan to sign a foreign player in January and strengthen our team.
“The boys showed what they are capable of with the 3-2 win over Bursaspor who are one of the leagues best sides.”
Galatasaray recently released a statement confirming that Karabükspor were in talks with Gündoğan and Özçal.
The statement read: “Karabükspor are in talks with Umut Gündoğan and Furkan Özçal over a loan transfer for both players.”
Gündoğan joined Galatasaray on a £500,000 move from Bucaspor last January but has only made five appearances for the Lions.
Özçal joined Galatasaray on a free transfer from Kayserispor in 2012.
