Fenerbahçe winger Dirk Kuyt stated that the secret behind his success at Liverpool was his hard work.
“I worked hard to prove myself at Liverpool, I worked and worked and worked, I was always working on developing my game,” Kuyt told the official Fenerbahçe magazine.

Kuyt revealed that he thought he was successful at Liverpool and proud of the time he spent at the Premier League giants.
“I think I did well at Liverpool, I always gave it my all and become a regular for the Netherlands international team,” he added.
The former Netherlands international moved to Liverpool in 2006 and scored 71 goals in 285 matches for the Reds.
The Netherlands international played in the the 2006-07 Champions League final, was runner up in the 2008-09 Premier League title race and won the 2011-12 League Cup with Liverpool.
The former Netherlands international has been playing in Turkey at Fenerbahce since making a €1 million move in 2012.
The former Netherlands international recently revealed that he will join Feyenoord at the end of the season.
Fenerbahçe are currently second in the Süper Lig, one point behind league leaders Beşiktaş.
The Yellow Canaries take on Sivasspor next at the 4 Eylül stadium.
