Liverpool face a challenge from Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Javier Pastore.
The Argentina international is expected to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer after falling down the pecking order.
Pastore has made the majority of his appearances this season off the bench and has a little over a year left on his contract.
According to the Sun, Liverpool are among several clubs interested in the Argentina international’s signature.
Meanwhile, Turkish outlet Fanatik state that Besiktas have set their sights on Javier Pastore as a replacement for the outbound Anderson Talisca.
Per the source, the Balck Eagles have set aside €10 million and are already in contact with the player’s representatives.
Fanatik go onto state that PSG are holding out for a €15 million offer for the Argentinian star.
Liverpool are back in action this weekend when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend.
