Emre Can has stated that he is aiming to score between five to ten goals this season. The 21-year-old scored just one goal last season against Chelsea.
The Germany international went onto state that he wants to improve his goal tally from last season.
“I haven’t got a particular target of scoring five or 10 goals, I take one game at a time.” Can told Liverpool FC.
“Perhaps I do have one target of scoring more goals than last season and last year I only scored one goal.
“Hopefully it will be more this season.”
Can started his second consecutive game for the Germany national team – against Scotland at right-back yesterday. The former Bayer Leverkusen man has however spent this season in his favoured midfield position for Liverpool.
The 21-year-old joined the Reds on a £9.75 million transfer from Bayer Leverkusen last summer
Can has featured in all four Liverpool Premier League games this season and is expected to play against Manchester United next at Old Trafford after the international break.
