Liverpool transfer news: Euro Giants table £23m deadline day bid for Reds contract rebel

Serie A giants Juventus have made a deadline day bid for Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can.

The 23-year-old has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League giants over the summer.

However, Liverpool have – so far – resisted all approaches for their star man despite Can having under 12-months remaining on his contract.

According to Italian outlet La Stampa, Juve have tabled a £23 million deadline day offer for Liverpool’s Emre Can.

The 23-year-old could walk out of Liverpool for free next summer unless the Reds can strike a new deal with him.

Can has been in impressive form for Liverpool since the start of the season.

The Germany international netted a brace against Hoffenheim last week to secure Liverpool’s place in the UEFA Champions League. Can also played a starring role during the Reds 4-0 win over title rivals Arsenal.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star registered three assists and five goals in 40 appearances for Liverpool last season.
