Liverpool travel to Old Trafford to take on bitter rivals Manchester United in the Premier League.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is expected to start Emre Can in central midfield following injury to Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and Phillip Coutinho.
Can made his international debut for Germany last week and started in the 3-1 win over Poland as well as the 3-2 victory over Scotland in Euro 2016 Group D.
The 21-year-old was however, deployed at right-back by Germany boss Joachim Low.
The Liverpool youngster was one of three players on the Germany national team of Turkish origin – Mesut Özil and İlkay Gündoğan being the others.
Manchester United are expected to be without Michael Carrick but David De Gae could be returning in goal after resolving his issues with head coach Louis van Gaal.
