The 20-year-old Argentinian spent the season out on loan at Gaziantepspor but failed to impress manager Okan Buruk.
Ontivero only played 213 minutes in all competitions for the Falcons over the course of the first half of the season.
The 20-year-old had his Gaziantepspor contract terminated during the winter transfer window.
Ontivero returned to his parent club Galatasaray following the decision and was expected to play in the reserves.
The Argentinian forward joined Galatasaray from Uruguayan side CA Finix last season.
Ontivero struggled for playing time due to the foreign player ruling.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) only permits five foreign players to play at any one time and allows clubs to only sign a maximum of nine non-Turkish players.
The TFF will however, lift the restrictions next season. Süper Lig clubs will be permitted to field 11 foreign players.
