Man City star involved in Twitter bust-up with Malaga president Al Thani
Man City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan is currently sidelined with a knee injury, but that hasn’t stopped him having a social media spat with Malaga president Al Thani.
Gundogan took to twitter to celebrate Barcelona’s incredible 6-1 victory over Paris Saint Germain.
The 26-year-old midfielder recalled Dortmund’s comeback victory over Malaga in the UEFA Champions League back in 2013.
However, Gundogan’s tweet did not go down well with Malaga president Al Thani.
Al Thani swiftly hit back with the following response, “You will be satisfied to have won with 12 players, with the referee!”

Gundogan hit back with a photo of Malaga’s offside goal during the game.

However, Al Thani was not done yet. The Malaga president reaffirmed the claim that Dortmund won with the referee’s help.

Al Thani followed up the tweet with an interesting claim about ten people who bet on the game.
