Manchester City’s incoming manager Pep Guardiola is prepared to give Jason Denayer a role in the Citizen’s first team.
The Turkish outlet Aktif Medya have reported that the Belgium international has no intention of spending next season out on loan and that the Spanish manager has plans for him in the squad.
Man City’s defence has been under the spotlight recently followin Kompany’s injury problems and the disappointing performances of Eliaquim Mangala, Martin Demichelis and Nicolas Otamendi.
Denayer has been one of the few players to have had a decent season for the Lions this season.
The 20-year-old defender is expected to return to City following his loan spell at Galatasaray but the Premier League giants have sent him out on temporary moves for the last two seasons.
Denayer has two assists in 14 appearances for the Istanbul giants in all competitions this season.
