Manchester United continue to be linked with Arsenal star Mesut Ozil despite signing his former teammate Alexis Sanchez.
Ozil is out of contract in the summer and, as of yet, has yet to sign an extension.
Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is keen on reuniting with the playmaker of Turkish origin, who he previously managed at Real Madrid.
The Manchester Evening News claim that United held talks with Ozil during negotiations for Sanchez.
Despite signing the Chile international arriving at Old Trafford the Red Devils are still interested in signing a No 10.
With Henrikh Mkhitaryan joining Arsenal, efforts to sign a new playmaker have been intensified.
United were keen on Ozil joining in January as well and reportedly told Ozil during the Sanchez negotiations there is no guarantee of an offer come the end of the season.
