Manchester United star midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been closely linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent months.
Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas have maintained an interest in the Belgium international since the summer transfer window.
However, according to the Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma have joined the race to sign the combative midfielder.
Per the source, Roma chief Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo has held contract talks with the Man United star.
Fellaini has entered the final three months of his contract which means he can hold contract talks with foreign clubs.
The 30-year-old will end up leaving Man United for free unless a new deal as agreed. United offered Fellaini a new contract back in September however the combative midfielder rejected the offer.
Fellaini has however found first-team chances hard to come by this season. The Belgium international has made just 12 Premier League appearances this season.
Man United are back in action on Monday night when they take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
