Ozil posted a picture of himself and his teammates along with the following caption, “M1Ö.”
The Germany international provided the assist for the Gunners opening goal when he played a long range pass over Stoke’s defence directly into the path of Theo Wacott’s run. Olivier Giroud scored the games other goal giving Arsenal the 2-0 win.
Özil played 84 minutes of yesterday’s game before being substituted off in place of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.
The 26-year-old received a rating of 7.9 from whoscord, the Germany international made eight key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of %87.
Arsenal take on Manchester United in the Premier League next weekend.
