Newly appointed Udinese boss Igor Tudor has already begun planning for the season ahead.
The former Croatia international managed Galatasaray earlier this season but was sacked on December 18 to make way for the arrival of Fatih Terim.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Star, Tudor has instructed Udinese officials to inquire about the availability of Galatasaray’s versatile midfielder Tolga Ciğerci.
Ciğerci was a star performer under Igor Tudor at Galatasaray however, his form has dipped following the appointment of Fatih Terim.
The Turkey international suits the Croatian tactician’s style of play and the report goes onto state that Galatasaray are prepared to offload the 26-year-old this summer.
Ciğerci has scored six goals in 18 Turkish Super Lig appearances for Galatasaray this season.
Galatasaray are back in action this weekend when they host their Istanbul rivals Besiktas at the Turk Telekom stadium on Saturday evening. A victory for Fatih Terim’s side will see them remain at the top of the league table.
