Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to post a selfie alongside his girlfriend and former miss Turkey Amine Gulse.

The 29-year-old has been under fire from the German press and fans after the national team crashed out of the 2018 World Cup.

Ozil has decided to take some time out from football to spend time with his friends and family.

The former Real Madrid star shared a photo of himself alongside Gulse and included the following heartfelt caption, “Thanks for always being there for me. You make me smile even when my world turns upside down.”
