Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has taken a trip to Spain following his sides first defeat of the season.

The Citizens suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Liverpool last weekend.

City are back in action on Saturday when they face relegation battlers Newcastle United.

Gundogan shared a photo of himself in Spain and included the following caption, “Spain, you‘ve been amazing as always! ¡Gracias! We are back in Manchester now and ready to go!”
