Arsenal kept their dreams of reaching the next stage of the Champions League alive following a 3-0 victory over Dynamo Zagreb.
Mesut Özil scored his third goal of the season against the Croatian giants and also made 95 touches over the course of the 90 minutes all across the pitch.
Manchester United legend and BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand was however, more impressed with the number of touches he had in the opposition penalty area.
Ferdinand said speaking after the game on BT Sport: “Özil is taking responsibility, this was a game he had to step up and play and he was all over the park today finding the ball and making it happen.
“What was important for me is that he was finding those touches in the box.”
Özil had a number of shots on target and almost scored a brace on a number of occasions.
The World Cup winner is however, better known for setting goals up instead of scoring them and has provided more assists than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues – England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy – with 11 from his last 12 Premier League games.
