Stoke City have tabled a bid for Galatasaray’s star midfielder and Senegal international Badou Ndiaye.

According to the daily Turkish paper Sabah, the Potters have made an official €16 million offer for the box-to-box midfielder.

However, the report goes onto state that Galatasaray have rejected Stoke City’s latest offer. The Lions are currently involved in a hotly contested title race and are under no pressure to sell.

Per the source, Galatasaray are unwilling to part company with Ndiaye unless their €20 million valuations is met.

The Senegal international only made the move to Istanbul from Osmanlispor over the summer. The 26-year-old has gone on to establish himself as a first-team regular.

Meanwhile, Turkish outlet AMK state that Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are also interested in signing Ndiaye.

Ndiaye is expected to be back in action for Galatasaray when they take on Kayserispor on Monday.

Stoke City face the newly promoted Huddersfield in the Premier League this weekend as they look to return to winning ways.
