Everton were held to a 1-1 draw against West Brom at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
There were huge boos around Goodison Park when Cenk Tosun departed to be replaced by Oumar Niasse.
Toffees boss Sam Allardyce had the last laugh as the substitute took just a minute to equalise.
There was a bit of confusion over who was being booed.
Tosun still has many fans who followed him over from Besiktas to Everton. The Toffees have received a surge in interest from Turkey and Turkish football lovers but there were a few confused individuals regarding the booing incident.
It was really bad moment. I said to myself, why Everton fans booing him.. he played only 2 games and he tried everything to score. But there is no one to feed him. He will be better next weeks. I hope.. I hope Tosun did not offended.

There was sounds of booing when Tosun was taken off but it turns out the fans did not turn their back on him, instead they were protesting the decision.
For the record – the Everton fans did not boo @CenkTosun_ when he was taken off…
They booed because we DIDN’T want him taken off – we wanted him to carry on attacking as we were 0-1 down!!#EFC #COYB #Everton

Yer he wasn’t being boo’ed, the booing was aimed at Sam Allardyce taking him off. Should have put Niasse on as well as Tosun. Playing that defensively at home is ridiculous!
