Tottenham transfer news: Euro club President to hold transfer talks with Spurs over out-of-favour £30m star midfielder

With just three days remaining before the transfer window slams shut, Trabzonspor are ramping up their efforts to sign Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The Turkish Super League giants are desperate to land a big name signing to celebrate their 50th year anniversary.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Trabzonspor’s president Muharrem Usta will travel to London this week for further talks with Tottenham.

The Black Sea Storm have already agreed personal terms with the France international and are locked in negotiations with Tottenham.

Trabzonspor want to sign Sissoko on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy included.

Sissoko has failed to secure a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting lineup since his £30 million move from Newcastle United last summer.

The 28-year-old was named in the squad which drew 1-1 to Burnley on Sunday but did not feature in the game. Sissoko provided four assists in 34 games for Tottenham last season.
