Turkish champions Besiktas take on Turkish Cup winners Galatasaray in the Super Cup in Konya.
The Black Eagles are expected to give Marcelo his debut after the full-back joined from Barcelona last month.
The Istanbul giants will be with two notable omissions in Gokhan Tore who joined West Ham on loan and Mario Gomez who did not return from Fiorentina following the end of his loan stay.
Besiktas could end up welcoming back Tolgay Arslan after a long spell on the sidelines with injury. Former Fulham youth is expected to start on the wing with Olcay Sahan on the other flank and Cenk Tosun upfront.
Arsenal and Manchester United target Oguzhan Ozyakup is almost certain to start in midfield with Canadian international Atiba Hutchinson likely to also get the nod.
Galatasaray boss Jan Olde Riekerink is expected to give start summer signing Eren Derdiyok upfront as Lukas Podolski is lacking match fitness.
Captain Selcuk Inan is available as is Wesley Sneijder and Bruma who has been lighting it up for the Lions over the pre-season.
There were a number of incidents between the fans leading up to the clash but the situation is now reported to be under control.
