The Brazilian attacking midfielder scored his penalty in the shoot out but it was Lyon who ended up going through after Mitrovic missed in sudden death.
Turkish-Football reported that Manchester United kept tabs on Talisca against Lyon.
United have been closely linked with the 23-year-old who has a £21 million release clause.
Talisca now has eight goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season.
The powerful midfielder joined Besiktas on a two-year loan deal but he could be signed by a rival club on a permanent deal over the summer if his release clause is activated.
