Manchester City participated in the U12 Izmir Cup hosted by Altinordu.
Fifty-six clubs from 21 countries took part in the tournament that was eventually won by FC Twente.
The City youths did not win the competition but their U12 side might just have a future captain in the making.
The Citizens goalkeeper rocked the show with a brilliant rendition of the ‘We’ve Got Guardiola’ chant.

City actually impressed me over the course of the tournament. It is clear Guardiola’s system is starting to influence the club at all levels.
The rising stars played some of the most technical football on display. Passing the ball out of defence as opposed to the long-ball tactic employed by most other sides. Also they did not rely on using tall players with a clear unfair advantage as some of the other teams did.
