West Ham United have received a boost in their pursuit of Cape Verde international Garry Rodrigues.
According to the Turkish outlet Sporx, Rodrigues’ former club PAOK is putting pressure on the in-form winger’s agent to force a transfer. PAOK’s chairman Ivan Savvidis recently caused controversy after marching onto the pitch carrying a gun.

Per the source, POAK will receive 20% of Rodrigues’ next transfer. The Dutch-born winger has been linked with a €12 million move to West Ham in recent weeks. If the move were to happen it would result in a windfall for the Greek Super League side.
According to the Turkish outlet Takvim, Galatasaray recently rejected a €12 million bid from West Ham for Rodrigues. The report goes onto state that the Lions are holding out for a bid in the region of €18 million.
West Ham United are back in action this weekend when they take on Stoke City in the Premier League.
