Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will miss his sides trip to Istanbul.
The North London club face Galatasaray in the final Champions League Group D encounter on December 9.
Wilshere has been ruled out with an injury for three months according to a statement released by Arsenal.
“Everyone at the club wishes Jack a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch as soon as possible,” read a club statement.
The 22-year-old had to undergo surgery on his ankle following an injury sustained during Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to rivals Manchester United.
Arsenal have secured their place in the Last 16 but can top the group if they beat Galatasaray and Dortmund drop points against Anderlecht.
