Wolfsburg have joined the race for Arsenal target Gökhan Töre according to the Milliyet.
The Metro report that Arsenal are preparing a £14.5 move for the Beşiktaş winger and that the Gunners have been keeping close tabs on him.
The Beşiktaş winger has attracted a lot of interest after a brilliant start to the season providing five assists – highest in the Turkish Super League – and one goal in six games this season.
The report claims that Wolfsburg have also sent scouts as well as Arsenal to keep tabs on Töre’s recent performances.
Töre has of course played in Germany before having joined HSV Hamburg from Chelsea in 2012. In fact despite being a Turkish international the 23-year-old was actually born in Germany and grew up there.
The explosive winger first burst onto the scene at the Chelsea academy as a youth and was a star of the FA Youth Cup winning side of 2010.
Bugün report that Beşiktaş will consider offers at the end of the season that match their £14.5 million valuation.
