Leicester boss Claude Puel has admitted striker Islam Slimani may have to leave the club this January transfer window to find regular game time according to Sky Sports.

“For Slimani, I cannot give all the ties about an individual player,” he said.

“I repeat, that since the beginning, that we have a lot of strikers. We need to make a good balance for the team, to give game time for all the players.

“We will see if some players can win some game time at other clubs but we have to discuss with these players.”

The Algeria international has started only one Premier League game since September scoring just five goals in all competitions this season.

The Foxes have no shortage of forwards with Jamie Vardy, Ullua, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa available.
