Liverpool midfielder Emre Can revealed that he was proud of making his first international cap for the Germany national team.
Can shared a picture on Instagram page from the game and added a caption explaining just how pleased he was with his senior international debut.
Can was named in the starting XI for Germany in the 3-1 victory over Poland in Euro 2016 Group D last week.
The Liverpool youngster started at right-back for Germany and will be hoping to earn his second cap when the World Cup winners take on Scotland in their next Euro 2016 game.
Can has featured in all four Liverpool Premier League games this season and is expected to play against Manchester United next at Old Trafford after the international break.
The 21-year-old had previously played for Germany at u21 level but had the option to represent Turkey at senior level as well.
