Fenerbahce’s newly appointed sporting director Giuliano Terraneo has stated that the club need a new goalkeeper to replace Volkan Demirel.
According to the newspaper Sabah, The Italian sporting director has been far from impressed with the experienced keepers performances this season.
“If we are aiming for success in Europe we cannot continue with this goalkeeper,” Terraneo was quoted as saying by Sabah.

The Yellow Canaries ended the 2014-15 season with a victory over their Istanbul rivals Kasimpasa. Fenerbahce have finished the season in second place with 74 points in 34 games.
The 33-year-old keeper has two years remaining on his current contract with Fenerbahce. Volkan joined Fenerbahce from Kartalspor back in August 2002.
Volkan has kept 13 clean sheets and conceded 23 goals in 29 appearances for the Yellow Canaries this season.
