Mesut Özil revealed that he thought Arsenal deserved the 3-1 win over Hull City at the KC stadium.
The 26-year-old stated that Hull did not stand a chance against the Gunners especially in the first-half.
“We played outstanding football, especially in the first half,” Özil told Arsenal Player.
“We really deserved to be 3-0 up and as I mentioned, in the first half our performance was top class. Hull City didn’t have a chance.”

Özil was one of the Gunners top performers on the night statistically according to Whoscored who gave the World Cup winner a 7.41 rating.
The 26-year-old was praised by Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger after the game.
“Mesut Özil is developing fantastically well and had a fantastic game. Overall his influence was very strong,” Wenger said.
Özil has received several awards for his performances since the turn of the year.
The World Cup winner has won two Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month awards and was also chosen as the PFA Fans Player of the Month for April.
Arsenal have won 15 out of the last 18 games Özil has played in since recovering from injury.
Özil has four goals and seven assists since returning from injury in 2015.
