Mesut Özil was looking forward to playing under flood lights at the Emirates against Swansea City but it all ended in disaster as the Welsh side won 1-0.
The defeat was Özil’s first at home in the Premier League since joining Arsenal on a record breaking £42.5 million move in 2013.

The loss could also jeopardise the Gunners chances of finishing the league in second place.
Arsenal are currently third, three points behind Manchester City but the North London based side do have a game in hand.
The Gunners will take on fourth placed Manchester United next who still could overtake Arsenal and force them to qualify for the Champions League through the playoff route once again.
