Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has urged his teammates to concentrate on winning the Premier League title and it appears his plea done the job as the Gunners beat Everton 0-2 away from home.
“In the end, we will see. If we win the title we will be very happy,” Ozil told the official Arsenal website.
“We have lost points because we don’t concentrate or because we haven’t scored but now we have to fight for each game.
“We have to concentrate now and give everything on the pitch.”
The Gunners ended a poor run of results to beat the Toffees 0-2 at Goodison Park with Danny Welbeck and 19-year-old Iwobi getting their names on the scoresheet to close the gap with Premier League leaders to 8 points.
Ozil did not provide an assist or score but he was involved in the build up for the first goal and put on an impressive performance.
Arsenal still have a chance to win the league title but it is currently out of their hands as leaders Leicester City and second placed Tottenham will have to drop points in order for that to happen.
