West Ham boss confirms Arsenal ace as a January transfer target amid growing interest from Turkey
West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed that out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is a January target.
Moyes confirmed that the Hammers will consider making a move for Wilshere if he is available.
“You’d hope that if you took a player from another Premier League club it’d be much easier for him to go right into the team and play well,” the West Ham manager was quoted as saying by the Guardian.
“Jack Wilshere would be someone who we’d have to look at if he was available.
“I do believe the transfer window could be the difference between relegation and staying up. If we can get the right players, that’s the big part of it.”

Wilshere has struggled for playing time at the North London giants this season.
The England international has played just 86 minutes of Premier League football this season.
The 25-year-old has played regularly in the Europa League scoring once and providing two assists in six appearances for the Gunners.
Wilshere has under 12 months remaining on his contract and will be a free agent at the end of the season unless he reached an agreement over an extension with Arsenal.
Wilshere is refusing to sign a contract extension with the North London based outfit according to Turkish sports newspaper Aksam.
Per the source, Wilshere wants assurances of first team football otherwise he will consider his option.
Fenerbahce are among the sides interested in signing the England international.
The Yellow Canaries are willing to make a bid in January to prize Wilshere away from the Emirates.
