Fenerbahce deny transfer talks with Bayern Munich star Robben

Fenerbahçe have denied being on the verge of completing the transfer of Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

Robben has been closely linked with a move to the Yellow Canaries over recent weeks and rumours resurfaced following football pundit Ertem Şener hinting that the Dutch star could be on his way to the club.

Fenerbahçe have however, confirmed the transfer of Ozan Tufan who will join on a €7 million move from Bursaspor.

The 20-year-old midfielder has completed his move to the Istanbul giants and signed a five-year deal for an undisclosed salary.

The Yellow Canaries have also snapped up Robben’s Holland international teammate Robin van Persie from Manchester United over the transfer window.

Van Persie was not however, the only United player to join the clubs ranks as Luis Nani also made the move to Istanbul.

In total Fener have signed nine players over the summer transfer window.
