Özil has a reputation as a pass master, take a look at his statistics and it is easy to understand why. The 26-year-old has an 88 percent completion rate and was averaging 60.6 passes per-game, only Aaron Ramsey has a marginally better record of 60.9 passes per-game. Özil completed 901 passes in the final third last season and was the most valuable player per 100 passes. Arsenal could do with having a player able to pass as accurately and frequently as Özil against a City side that keep more possession on average than any other team in the league (59.7 percent).
