Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Özil has been picture along side the One Direction member Niall Horan.
Horan took the selfie after the Gunner’s Premier League victory over Everton on Saturday, a result that sent the Gunners top of the table.
Özil posted the picture on his official Instagram page.
Arsenal beat Everton 2-1 to move into joint first place in the Premier League yesterday. Özil setup Olivier Giroud with the opening goal in what was his fifth assist in four games for the Gunners.
Sky Sports football pundit Jamie Redknapp praised Özil for his assist and described his left foot as being a thing of wonder.
“Özil who has a wonder of a left foot was given the time to deliver and it really was a lovely delivery,” Redknapp said speaking on Sky Sports after the game.
The 27-year-old received rating of 8.26 from WhoScored for his performance against the Toffees.
Özil now has a total of seven assists in all competitions for the north London based club this season.
