Beşiktaş have received more red cards than any other team in the Süper Lig this season – 7.

Slaven Bilic believes the Black Eagles are being singled out.

“I want the footballing authorities to watch our games and look at the decisions we have received,” Bilic said.

“There is a double standard against us, referees show us cards easier than to our opposition.”

Irregardless of whether you believe in conspiracies and referee plots against Beşiktaş, Bilic is going to have to improve his sides disciplinary record.

Beşiktaş received red cards in both Istanbul derby games against Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray and also lost both.

The Black Eagles lead the table in terms of seeing red but Trabzonspor however, have the record for yellow cards – 52.

The award for best behaved team goes to Balıkesirspor who also happen to be rock bottom at the foot of the table. Just goes to show that the good guys do not always win.
