Damir Skomina to referee Beşiktaş v Liverpool clash
[divider]The Slovinian referee Damir Skomina will officiate the Europa League tie between Besiktas and Liverpool on Thursday 26 February.
The new was confirmed on UEFA’s website this morning.
Jure Praprotnik and Robert Vukan have been appointed as linesmen while Andraz Kovacic will be the forth official.
Skomina was the fourth referee at several UEFA Euro 2008 matches. At UEFA Euro 2012, Skomina refereed three matches including two group matches and a quarterfinal between Germany and Greece. He was also the Fourth official in the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final.

Beşiktaş host Liverpool at the Olimpiyat Stadium in the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg on Thursday 26 February. Liverpool won the first leg 1-0 at Anfield Road.
The Reds last won the Europa League under its former name the UEFA Cup in 2000/01.
Liverpool qualified for the Europa League following their third place finish in the Champions League group stages.
